Bachelor Degree - 3 years
Students have the possibility to choose from a wide range of majors. As a result students can graduate with either one of the following Bachelor Degree:
· Bachelor of Arts (Nature Tourism) (AUS$18,810)
Nature tourism involves the study of natural environments, human-nature relationships, and the practice of nature guiding and environmental interpretation. The course features a three-year sequence of environmental studies, nature tourism, education theory about leading and guiding groups in the outdoors, and outdoor and field naturalist practise. Students complete specialist studies in nature tourism, environmental studies, and land management. They also take elective studies from other disciplines such as economics, marketing, geography or biology. First year emphasises basic concepts in environmental studies. In second and third years students develop expertise and teaching skills in natural history. They also pursue studies in environmental interpretation theory and practice, natural heritage and tourism studies, environmental studies and education for sustainability. Students take five electives in an area of interest or sequences of studies in order to meet the entry requirements for teaching methods for a secondary teaching qualification. Students undertake approximately 80 days' practical work over three years, including an extended three-week study of the Murray River environment by canoe in second year.
· Bachelor of Business (Tourism and Hospitality) (AUS$18,200)
This course covers a broad spectrum of issues across both industries and emphasises the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed for effective tourism and hospitality management. It gives students the broadest possible career options by combining a solid business degree - encompassing areas such as accounting, marketing and economics - with specialised tourism and hospitality studies. Among some of the subjects covered in the course include; Tourism Management; Accommodation Management; Food Service Management; Accounting; Economics; Event Management; Hospitality; Human Resource Management; Languages; Marketing; Tourism-Adventure; Catering & Conference Management; Rural Tourism; Community Tourism; Tourism & the Environment; Destination Marketing & Management; Festival & Event Tourism and Tourism Enterprise Management.
· Bachelor of Business (Tourism Management) (AUS$18,200)
This course provides students with first-hand knowledge of travel and tourism operations. This equips them with the industry knowledge and core business management skills that can be applied to small, medium and large tourism businesses. The course gives students the broadest possible career options by combining a solid business degree - encompassing areas such as accounting, marketing and economics - with specialised tourism subjects including Destinations Marketing and Management; Travel Operations and Ticketing; Tour Guiding; Event Management and Tourist Attraction Operations. Students will be exposed to subjects such as Travel and Tourism; Entrepreneurship; Event Management; Wine Tourism and Marketing; International Tourism; Resort Management; Marketing; Languages; Ecotourism; Regional Culture & Heritage Tourism; Community Tourism; Environmental Tourism and General Business Studies.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants should fulfil the following requirements-
- Successful completion of Cambridge A Levels OR equivalent.
- IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no individual band score less than 6.0 OR equivalent.
Graduate Diploma in Hospitality Management – 1 year
This course provides professional studies in hospitality management for graduates from any discipline, and prepares students for professional employment in the hospitality industry. It provides a flexible course structure to suit students' individual requirements, allowing them to expand on previous studies and vocational experiences. Students complete eight (8) subjects, comprising two compulsory subjects and six (6) electives.

Entry Requirements:
This program is available to students who have satisfactorily completed a degree equivalent to a three-year Australian University award or satisfactorily completed a Professional Development course from the School of Management equivalent to at least 30 credit points.
Master Degree
There are two Master degrees that students can choose from:
· Master of Tourism – 1 year
This course delivers students with a professionally-relevant program of study in contemporary tourism issues. It has a particular focus on the development of tourism, the marketing of tourism destinations and the analysis of tourism activity. It is designed to equip students with advanced skills in tourism analysis and marketing skills that meet the expectations for managing the growing challenges in a dynamic industry. Students complete eight subjects, including four (4) core subjects and up to three (3) specialised electives; they also undertake a 4,000 word (minimum) research project in a contemporary topic dealing with industry change.
· Master of Tourism (Honours) – 1.5 years
This extended program focuses on contemporary tourism issues. It allows a senior student who has completed the requirements for the Master of Tourism to explore an issue of their own choice and to prepare a research thesis. In addition to the requirements of the Master of Tourism (120 credit points), students are required to complete a research thesis of 15 000 words (60 credit points).

Entry Requirements:
Applicants should fulfil the following requirements-
- Bachelor degree, Graduate Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma from a recognised Australian university with a minimum 'C' average in the final year.
- Demonstrated relevant work experience in a tourism-related industry.
